Our impact at. Amana Regional Referral Hospital.

For more than a decade, Midwife Vision has partnered with Amana in Dar es Salaam, working alongside hospital leadership, the Ministry of Health, and dedicated local clinicians to strengthen maternity and newborn services.

Building clinical excellence

A permanent education & simulation centre.

We established and equipped a dedicated maternity education and simulation training centre — a permanent facility for the ongoing education of midwives, nurses, doctors, interns and medical students.

Education extends beyond the classroom into the labour ward, where bedside teaching and simulation enable clinicians to develop practical skills within their own clinical environment.

Creating sustainable change

Building local capacity — not short-term solutions.

By mentoring local clinicians, supporting hospital infrastructure and providing practical, evidence-based education, we have helped create a sustainable model of learning that continues to benefit mothers and newborns long after each teaching program is completed.
